As the new Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the customer experience in our Arrivals and Departures Duty Free stores at Adelaide International Airport. Supporting the Location Manager, you will take ownership of the sales team and foster a positive environment through coaching and setting clear goals to achieve sales targets. You will be strategically minded, lead by example and understand that each day is unique and will often mean wearing many ‘hats’ to ensure our brand is well presented and our customers’ desires are fulfilled.
We’re looking for a hands-on leader who will:
- Demonstrate solid retail operational experience and people management skills
- Bring a strong analytical and entrepreneurial approach to the business
- Be a strong communicator
- Provide effective training to staff in the areas of customer service, product knowledge, inventory control and merchandising
- Be a true brand ambassador

To operate at optimum level and ensure the stores’ financial success you will have at least 5 years retail management experience, with strong commercial acumen and the ability to motivate a team of sales professionals to drive sales. In addition, you will have rostering and visual merchandising experience and be proficient in Microsoft applications including Excel, Word & Outlook. Exposure to categories sold in duty free (Perfume & Cosmetics, Liquor etc.) would be an added advantage.
